Midwestern University encourages employees to broaden their education by providing tuition reimbursement for eligible employees participating in approved courses at accredited U.S. educational institutions. Courses must be part of a planned degree or certification program.

Dependents (spouses, domestic partners, children and step-children) of active full-time faculty and staff members (.8 FTE or above) who attend a college or program of Midwestern University will be given 10% tuition relief for each year of service to a maximum of 100% tuition relief. Tuition relief cannot be applied towards more than one degree for each dependent.

Application for Tuition Relief 

Midwestern University will reimburse up to 15% of eligible childcare expenses on a bi-annual basis to benefits-eligible Staff and Faculty. Childcare expenses must be provided by a licensed childcare provider, before/after school program, childcare day camp, au pair or professional nanny who claims the expenses as taxable income. Provider eligibility proof will be required, such as a childcare/business license or tax filing documents. Family members are not eligible as Childcare providers under this policy.

Childcare Affidavit - Unlicensed
