What Can I Do to Show My Support for Students?
The MWU Annual Fund
The Midwestern University Annual Fund benefits students by providing scholarships and funds for curriculum development, computer hardware and software, library resources, laboratory equipment, and improvements to facilities and grounds.
College / Program Gifts
Within the MWU Annual Fund campaign, alumni and friends also have the opportunity to designate gifts specific to their Colleges or Programs to include scholarships, faculty development, and equipment needs.
Matching Gifts
You can double or even triple a gift from you or your spouse through an employer's matching gift program. Many companies match employee gifts on a one-to-one or two-to-one ratio to education, healthcare, or other charitable organizations.
Annual and Endowed Scholarships
At Midwestern University, scholarships assist students to achieve their healthcare career dreams and reduce their debt burden. Scholarships also provide the University with a means of recognizing students for their academic, professional, and community achievements. Not only do scholarships make a difference to the students who receive the awards, they also raise the standard of education and achievement for all students. Scholarship gifts may be made annually or established as endowed scholarship funds in perpetuity. The minimum donation required for an endowed, named scholarship is $25,000 and may be made through a one-time gift or multi-year pledge.
Corporate Sponsorships
At Midwestern University, our academic leaders work in partnership with the very best hospitals, pharmacies, health centers, clinics, laboratories, and private practices to educate future healthcare leaders. For this reason, the University is proud to invite corporate leaders to participate in our progress and promise. By becoming a Corporate Partner with Midwestern University, your company or healthcare practice can do more than contribute to a cause. You can generously and actively support the future of healthcare in our society through gifts to Colleges on the Glendale, Arizona and/or Downers Grove, Illinois campuses.
Opportunities to provide a sponsorship to support Midwestern University as a corporate partner begin at $500 and include White Coat Ceremony, MWU Career Fair, Chippin' in for Students Golf Classics, and Bright Lights, Shining Stars Gala. We have a variety of facility naming opportunities available, as well, including patient simulation laboratories, biomedical laboratories, an anatomy lab, clinics, conference rooms, and office suites. We are happy to tailor a named gift opportunity for you.

Alumni and friends are invited to donate $50 to purchase a white coat for new students on each campus as part of the University's annual White Coat Ceremony.
The We're MWU Proud Campaign provides a special opportunity for the University's faculty and staff members to make gifts in any amount to help enhance our campus community. Three specific areas of need have been highlighted: Campus Beautification, the Technology Fund, and the Student Fund.
We welcome the opportunity to assist you in making a gift in memory or in honor of a family member, friend, classmate, or colleague.
Both the Downers Grove and Glendale campuses offer gift opportunities that can be commemorated with a bench, tree, or other item marked by a plaque. This program provides members of our campus community with an affordable way to make gifts in honor or memory of loved ones while beautifying our surroundings.
VIP Partners include vendors, corporations, healthcare organizations, medical practice groups, and individuals who are committed to advancing healthcare professionals for the next generation. Our VIP Partners make one payment at the beginning of the year, to sponsor both the Chippin' in for Students Golf Classic and Bright Lights Shining Stars Gala.
